Promote and Market your HR and HRM Management
The HR Function is really very results and relationship oriented. The HR Management forgets about one very important aspect of the success - the promotion and marketing. The HR Marketing is a very young and growing part of the HRM Functions, still fighting for its position in the HR Organization.
The HR Marketing example - you produce a report, you put in on the Intranet and you send the information to the management you can see the report. The HR Marketing guy is able to take the report, to find the most important numbers describing the success of the HRM Function and to make a promotional campaign among the managers as they can see the real results of the HR Management Team.
It looks pretty simple, but the job is really heavy. The HR Marketing guy can always improve the image of the HRM Function in the organization, but many HR Directors put one more FTE to the Payroll and Administration and the FTE for the HR Marketing is simply cancelled.
But for the success of the HR Director, the HR Marketing guy can easily create that one missing FTE in Payroll and Administration, but the Payroll Clerk will never generate a need for the additional FTE for the HR Marketing.
